Maybe we need Simon Cowell to start a new show - Drum idol to get some publicity. Get the drummers in lurex suits with the dancers in the stands not on the field, new songs from Lord Webber, Wolfie going camp and draught Pimms in the bars. Take all the attention from all those rough sorts on the field and in the corners. It could be the new sensation that brings league to the massses again. But who would be the judges?
