paul sculthorpe announced boxing day,5 year deal worth 281k a season just to outdo bradford.

I thought we were close on the cap limit & therefore didn't have the money available to sign any additional "Big name" forwards, dispite how loudly they bang on our door.

As it stands at the moment any reasonable person would assume that wire are right up to the cap. However things could change if some players were allowed to leave either on loan or permanently.

For example Im not sure Jon Clarke would be happy being sat in the stands week after week and thats likely considering he is now third choice hooker and surely wont get a sniff at loose forward or second row.

Add to that Penny and Blythe and may be there might be enough room to bring in another prop. If someone like James Graham was to come in, then whats to say he wouldn't get a 4 year deal which is heavily weighted to the last three years. That could make it more affordable in 2010.
