Anmol is the best curry i've had by a mile.

Rusholme is the mutts nuts, but the Anmol in Penketh verily rocks. As for wrong side of town, aren't there two Anmols? I could have sworn the sister restaurant is in Latchford in the village, no???

There is one in Latchford village, i've been in there but not sure if they do takeaways

Just finished my Chilli Chicken Masalla, Vegetable Pilau, Keema Nan and Bombay Potatoes from Elaahi in Penketh. Fantastic, as always



Eaten at some amazing Curry Houses in Manchester, Birmingham and London, and Elaahi compares well with any of them (wouldn't dream of getting an Indian takeaway from anywhere else).

Restaurants mate. Work for the breweries, and i'm in the cellars their regularly. Lets just say its not just beer they're keeping in they're dirty unrefridgerated cellars......

By the way, don't drink draught beer anywhere in that dive. Stick to bottles.....trust me.

The Sindh is "by far the best curry house outside of Rusholme"!

If you're in Manchester, give Rusholme a swerve for a change and try either East is East (just off Deansgate) or Akhbars (Liverpool Road, near the Beetham Tower). Awesome.

Mind you, if it's 3am, then naturally Rusholme is where it's cat...I mean at.

Spice Express on Knutsford Road

Cracking meal there couple of months ago.

Not a big curry fan and haven't tried loads of places but Lalkilla on Orford Lane is good.

It used to be, we used to go in there a couple of times a week but it's gone down hill lately.

For me without a doubt the best is the Bayleaf, run by very friendly people who can't do enought to get things right for you!

But keeping an open mind I'll give The Sindh a try just to check.

Used to use Tayef for their mixed meat sandwich - then they had a bit of bad luck on the food inspector front and we stopped going.

Now frequent the Indian in Honiton Square - chilli chicken tikka massale, pilau and a keema nan - quality !
