Quote ="St pete"The tackle on mathers happens every week.
So far
Pryce should have been sent off
Warrington had injurys
Ref gave saints everything
Gilmour should have been sent off
Can't you lot just admit you got beat by the best team in super league?
It's nothing to be ashamed of.'"
Good lord. Are we not allowed to talk about the game, is it not completely normal to talk about how decisions might have gone differently and how they might have affected the game? Especially when your team has lost.
Gilmour's 'tackle' on Mathers looked awful, it was right in front of me, I haven't seen a replay but it real time it looked very late and high.
I thought the ref made some poor decisions, both ways mind. I came home with some Saints fans last night (you can't choose your family) and they mentioned the Pryce on Carney incident, something I hadn't been able to see from were I had been standing. They thought he was lucky to get away with it.
You call us sore losers, but you sir are a terrible winner. The best team won last night, you won't here me or many other Wire fans saying any different either.
You can come round here mouthing off about how we'd been optimistic all week, so what? Should we have all come to the ground with our heads down, why even play the match, we could have just given you the two points. You're the best team, but with a few injuries we knew we had a chance, I don't suppose we should have mentioned that in the week leading up to the match either.
And don't come round acting like we didn't give you a run for your money last night, even with three (four with Higham) of our best performers out injured.
Congratulations on your victory, maybe we'll meet again at Wembley for another good game.
