Johnson can't complain about his words being twisted, his answer to a direct question is there to be seen.

However even if he does fancy going back to Wigan I wouldn't have any worries over Johnsons commitment, he's always been an unselfish and dedicated pro.

Gary, ask him. If he won't reply, or goes a bit funny on it, just Tickle him, all over, and even if he says that he's on barleys, just keep doing it until he caves in, and admits any interest in him.

If he says "What you doin' ?", just say "Exactly, what am I doing, eh, what am I doing ? " and raise your eyebrow, the left, and give him a look of mystery and intrigue.
