I'd play Bridge at left centre. I thought him & King were fine against Wakefield. I know Vinnie got a brace at the weekend, but that was at right centre. I wouldn't be against him playing right centre, PJ left centre, my only problem with this being your moving PJ from a position he's shown some form in recently, and he & Hicks should be left to try and get some sort of understanding.

Having said all of the above I see little reason to drop Grix. He's been solid, I just find him a tad boring to watch, but maybe there's something to be said for 'safe' at times. I just think Bridge offers you a bit more, I'd fancy Bridge to make a break, offload, pass around the corner etc, I'm not sure Grix has that in his locker.

I think you are doing Grix a dis-service. He may not be as exciting as Bridge, but then not many playrs are.

Personally I'd go with Riley, Hicks, Johnson, Grix, King/Penny, Bridge and Briers in the backs.

I thought Bridge has done well in the last couple of games, and Briers has been on form, so let's keep them in the halves.

Maybe so, I do like him, he just bores me. I know it sounds daft like, he's just slow & I never feel like he'll make a break or put his winger away or, y'know. I totally dig the job he does for the team, and he's certainly tightened up what was a problem area for us, so I'm down with that.

I'm presuming Monas is fit, if he's fit, I think He & Briers will start.

With that in mind, I'd play Bridge left centre. Should you lose a half 'in game' you can shift Bridge in there, move Vinnie to centre etc.

Grix more of a defensively minded centre choice, Bridge more attacking?

Exactly that, I just wasn't as concise. I think Bridge offers you more as a package at left centre. If he gets his head right, and with that Smith ends up liking him, he could be brilliant for us.

Grix is in top form

Lack of pace in the team is a worry though. It should be enough against Salford but we may struggle against better teams.

Tickets for Friday's game at the clubshop are £17 ive just got home and looked at the Salford website to find there only charging £15.

Anyone any idea's before i ring the clubshop.

you have to buy the day before the game to get them for 15 quid from our club shop

So the same doesn't apply if you buy them from the Wire club shop prior to the game

I noticed that too, we normally get them a bit cheaper if we buy from our shop in advance, not sure why this game ticket is different.

Hence no incentive to buy them early, I will just pay on the gate.
