I think the Grand Final will be at Knowsley Road now with Saints having won today. It is scheduled for a fortnight today.

Saints played very well today. I thought it was a carbon copy of last night. Dropping the ball and coughing up possesion all the time. and all the pens. Saints did have Fa'Savalu playing and Lomax.

Lomax was fit then. Wonder why he never played last night.

I was impressed with Shaun Magennis.

Yeah, Saints played vertually a team packed with 1st team experience and fully deserved their win. One consolation I did hear later in the pub was that we are interested in signing one of their young U18s forwards for next season. Apparently scores tries for fun and he has already met the wires. Soz cant remember his name though i had a few sherberts by then.

i was impressed with him when he played first team in at the hj earlier in the year, was a real workhorse and never gave up! its great for rl to see these youngsters coming up.

Only lad I know who from town is Ant Walker, I went college with him, big prop forward, played for college a couple of times was very good. If I remember he apparently went to Australia with St Helens, won some trophy, I think I read it somewhere on the college website.
