The ONLY interesting thing about that whole press release is the lack of a number 25 which imo can only mean that our signings for 2010 are not quite complete.

Or is it just a case that we wont have one?

OK give me one reasonable explanation why you would ever leave it free?



Can Tony Smith count? - I think he probably can

Did we forget? - It is Warrington Wolves, so maybe

Have we retired the number? - No

Do we have very superstitious players and /or coach? - I doubt

Fear of expectation/injury playing in a shirt vacated by Chris Bridge - I doubt



The only reasonable explanations are that a) we are waiting to promote another junior to the senior ranks but have not yet decided who. Or b) We are yet to complete our signings for 2010.

It could well be that David Solomona has requested No 26 which I think he wore at Bradford for several years and Vinnie Anderson has asked for No 27 for some reason?

The squad numbers make no difference for me, but I'm surprised that neither Rhys Williams or Rhys Griffiths have been included. TS always liked to include a large number of youngsters in his squad list when at Leeds but hasn't included anyone who hasn't made the list before.

He also appears to have included Hicks who can't get a visa and Clarke who is leaving.
