I love this place.

We just nilled Wigan for the first time in God knows how long and knocked them out of the cup two weeks after they mullered us, yet people are still able to have a moan?!

There is absolutely no way I want to play Warrington in the final. I would rather lose in the semi. We may be top but Warrington are on fire!!!

The grand final defeats to Wigan hurt much more than loss to Leeds, but, losing in a final against saints after that hoodoo would be the worst ever. Only beating you in a final for a trophy would make up for those last minute defeats a bit, but it would be a horrible day unless we won. To be fair it would be a rotten day for one set of fans and made worse by it being absolutely glorious for the other set no matter which side of the fence you're on. It would be great for the neutrals, still it's not happening yet, I reckon we'll get you at Bolton if you beat Hull.

I think our form in finals against Saints is good.

Agree with this; in which case a potential game against saints in the final would be a bit like a game of double or quits on roulette. I would be happy to take the gamble!

....like I said, we have to go back a long way but I think we've beaten Saints in the finals I can remember.

You just can't make it up, all the negativity out of such a professional performance. Wire were class yesterday and put in a very professional performance. We never gave Wigan any room to breathe which was largely down to Tyrone Roberts. This is the reason we nilled them and not the fact that they are the worst team to come out of Pieville in the last 100 years.

If individuals need to moan about yesterday maybe they should be taking up crown green bowls!!

Go watch a different sport if you don't agree with my opinion that it was the best performance by a Warrington team in 100 years... Go give yourself a pat on the back for being such an amazing fan.

Unbelievable some of our fans; I am sure that they’d want us to get beat just so they can moan!!!

It was by far our best performance of the season and a thoroughly deserved win.

Whilst Wigan were poor that was down to us making them look like that due to the intensity of our play.

The first half was amazing and the way we controlled the game in the second half was very professional; it may not have been as explosive as the first half but we stopped them having any chance of getting back into the game.

Thoroughly enjoyable so for God’s sake be happy!!!

I’d like to see that marquee money spent on a decent half from here or another NRL star, before risking it on a player from another sport who doesn’t play half-back. The likes of Trueman would be on my shopping list. We need an out and out half-back, a role which unfortunately neither Patton or Livett (or Eastmond) can fulfil...

I agree. He's good to keep as a utility player - replacement hooker, back up half back for injuries in a game, not first choice for either.

Roberts has been fine, but not great. Would be good for him to stay, but won't be massively missed. If he had the desire to play for us like Nat Wood did, then he would be amazing, but he looks uninterested for 70% of the game, going through the motions, and pretty unhappy imo.

I guess we will see both him and potentially Brown need replacing before very long, so hopefully that isn't with Patton and Eastmond! I think if it's with Eastmond and another quality half back then that would be OK, but not those two together!

Is it just me that doesnt get this Eastmond hype? Yeah he has quick feet and was pretty rapid before his move to Union. However, I didn't see much in him at half back when he played there at Saints, and i certainly don't think he is the answer at half back for Warrington going forward. I'm not sure who we need, or who is available, however for me, he isn't the answer.

Roberts isnt interested, simple as that, and we have all give him time to try and adjust and fit in, but it just isn't happening. Let him go now and put in a cheeky bid for Matty Smith (who i dont rate either, but everywhere he goes he seems to do a job) and lets concentrate on getting in a top class stand off for next year when Brown will (probably) retire.
