2 seasons ago mitchell sargeant hit sam tomkins late and properly cleaned him out.... he got up after 5 mins and went onto score a brilliant hat-trick.... thats when he got my respect.... that was a massive hit and it just made him better...... thats the sign of a QUALITY player.... he was only small and all is did was píss him him off.

Surprised non of you guys haven't mentioned Des Drummond, must be a few to recollect.

I'm always a bit wary of the big hit merchants. They know that it gets the crowd excited and its a big psychological boost when it comes off but charging in for the big hit takes risks if it doesn't come off and the players who go hunting it can be a problem. Its a bit like having a centre who fancies the interception.

Also the psychological winner of the big hit can be the player on the receiving end if he's been king hit and just got up and played the ball, Brett Hodgson has done that to players, Dean Bell used to do it as well.

Morley on Hansen last year at the HJ - purley because we need the ball in the dying seconds, and somebody had to stand up and try to gain possession.

We have a winner here because of the context. When Crabtree had entered the field against us in previous seasons he really made a postive impact for Huddersfield and Morley stopped that happening at a pivotal time in the game, for good measure the hit was so hard Crabtree had to leave the field soon after.

This then had a large bearing on winning the Cup. And thus had a big bearing on us winning the Cup this year.
