Leigh had absolutely no right to discuss with the player a contract starting immediately.

Grix, i think we're missing him more than people realise.

He's become the glue that keeps this team together, does the bits inbetween that let the halves and 9s do what they need to and sort of fills in the inbetween or is that little extra option just in case.

Despite his injuries, i can't recall a match where i've come away saying "Grix had a bad game today" if i was a huddersfield fan i'd be expecting to say that before every game (that guy can have some real stinkers).

Will be sad to see Micky leave in such a way but the club needs to move on but this could have been handled a lot more diplomatically I think.

On the plus side, Dwyer looked his lively self and slotted in nicely. Be interesting to see how he fairs against Salford.

Correct VW, although it was against Championship opposition he looked decent. Mind you he's always had that lively way about him and always looked ready to back himself from day one, perhaps overly so due to a bit too much youthful exuberance.

I like Dwyer. Strikes me as a bit of a nuisance, always picking at the markets looking for a gap. Let's hope a string of games with London has helped him along

Lets not forget that Brad Dwyer was loaned out to London, for a season long loan.

Currently he has been loaned-out to Wire for a month only, & is due to return there after that time scale. London are relying on him for this season, & all their plans will involve him playing for them, so we can`t be sure that he will play for the rest of the season for Wire

I personally can`t see why Leigh can`t wait until next season to sign Higham.

I realise that Sean Penkywicz is injured, but Bob Beswick had a great game yesterday, & is quality hooker, so they are NOT that badly off.

If Wire release Higham from his contract he will inevitably play against us in the quarter final, Leigh will have two hookers available to our one (Daryl Clark).

It would be totally unprofessional to release him under these circumstances, & give our opposition a major advantage.

If Micky doesn`t want to play for Warrington anymore, then Wire should let him stew for the rest of the season.

He can then sign for any club he wishes to, for next season.

Without injures to Salford and Wakefield (who had fitness problems with returning players) are you 100% sure Leigh would beat them and qualify for SL next season?
