Plus worth noting that Leigh were a part time squad last season. Their fitness and endurance levels are far stronger this year.

Can't wait for this one. I like Wire and the HJ Stadium too. Be good to play against Hilly, one of my favourite players ever. Not expecting a win but we are playing well and should compete and we'll bring plenty over to add to a good atmosphere.

We should not underestimate Leigh, they can win games and have a massive confidence boost. However we should be really winning them, if we play like we did against Leeds then i fear no team.

A great game in prospect ,obviously Wire will be favorites and rightly so , but we won't lie down you can count on that ,looking forward to the game.

Can't wait for this game. Are Leigh a myth? It remains to be seen. They've beaten Salford, at their most farcical with Chase and plenty of others missing, but did so with players missing themselves. They have now beaten Wakefield, who are an absolute farce of a club that probably won't exist as a professional club beyond this year. Does that make them a SL level side? Or have they just taken advantage of playing two sides with very serious issues?

Leigh in the first half against Wakefield didn't respect the ball and had a dire completion rate but when they kept hold of the ball they looked like a decent side. Our defence isn't the greatest so Leigh will score points its more a case of how we play and what we can throw at them

They've taken advantage. If they give us a game / beat us they'll prove they're a top 8 side, until then they're still middle 8 fodder.

If they beat us, the four SL clubs who end up in the middle 8 will be really worried. It's likely that the three other Championship Clubs will take places 6,7,8 but if Leigh can sneak a win against one of the other SL clubs as well as against Wakey, then the Million Dollar Game may well be Wakey vs AN Other from Super League. Imagine if that was Salford and they lost!

Brilliant. The Super League team lost to the Championship team because they were tired after 40 minutes.

In their four games prior to playing us, Salford beat Widnes 36-8, won 18-12 at Huddersfield and beat Wigan 24-14 before only losing by 10 points at Leeds. You could almost say their 'crisis' followed the defeat by Leigh rather than the other way round.

I'd like to think we'll have learned from the experience of yesterday. Our part time team of last season mixed it with Leeds for 78 minutes so hopefully with a (very) much improved completion rate we can give a good account of ourselves. Wire will be justifiably favourites, but it should be a cracking game with hopefully close to 3,000 Leigh fans if it's the Saturday or Sunday.
