The obstruction decision is the worst I've seen since the mystery roby try against crusaders two years ago.

That didn't happen though. His arm comes up after the challenge, as it always does when you bump shoulder to shoulder like that. It's poor technique by Henderson, Puletua did nothing wrong, plants his feet and makes a wall of his shouler and the side of his body.

SBW and Sam Burgess have made a career out of shots like that, absolutely nothing in it at all. Mr Morley too used to be raved about on here for putting in tackles like that.

Not quite. I can see why they gave it though, the side on angle showed he moved Makinson a good few feet without actually touching the ball. It was good positioning by Makinson, putting his body between Millard and the ball, meaning he had to go through Makinson to reach it. Had he got to the ball it would have been given, but as it was all he did was move Makinson out of the way.

What happened to Catalans in the past week and a half? Really poor defence compared to their showing the other Monday. Saints are truly back to their best, I reckon they may be looking to take second/top spot.

And nobody's mentioned the phantom Catalan forward pass which prevented an almost certain Catalan try followed a few minutes later by an outrageous Brett Favre special!

If we're being honest here (which we are) saints may have picked catalans pocket tonight but if tonight proved one thing it is that they aren't nearly as deadly as previous saints sides and aren't as good as wigan, warrington and arguably catalans and leeds. Simples.

The best saints can most likely look forward to this season, is a yet another loss at old trafford.

Saints and catalans and that can fight it out for 3rd and 4th. We can focus on winning the challenge cup and trying to RETAIN our LLS.
