Cas need a SL standard half back for a few matches, GOB will be getting game time at a higher standard than being on DR at Swinton

Patience, he is only 18. My guess is that he will probably make around 8 first team appearances this year. The coaching staff are obviously not going to risk him unnecessarily. I certainly wouldn't like to see him risked against the big Cat forwards just yet - he has plenty of time.

Seriously though, I would hope that we get to see Currie and the rest of the young lads supposedly knocking on the 'first team door', this season. Preferably in a 'controlled manner, rather than a mass inclusion before a big game, otherwise we will never know

We've had a tough start to the season with Wigan and Catalans. I can see Currie coming into contention within the coming weeks. Possibly Trent & Bennie Westwood will get time off along with Brett which will see Ratch at fullback. I personally don't like players being rested for resting sake but understand long term it's for the good of the Squad and the season.

The late hit on O'Brien was a disgrace. Ian Millward was fuming and is obviously concerned having to play those maniacs from the South of France next week.
The video ref. (I think it was Silverwood) thought the challenge was OK. I think Silverwood has lost the plot. You have to protect clever players from late hits after they release the ball. It was a very cheap & high contact on a defenceless player.
