A Wigan fan texted in and said 'just you watch, all these saints fans will be ringing in and phoning in saying Potter out' and just at that moment, a text dropped in saying something like 'long ride home, get Potter out'
Typical Saints, just when things aint going there way.

I never thought I would hear a commentator who could "err" and "umm" as much as Ray French, but credit where credit is due, Radio Merseyside has found him a suitable broadcast partner in Alan Rooney.
And just a quick note about Jack Dearden.......it's okay to agree with a caller once in a while Jack, I know it's extremely rare that you do, but it won't hurt to do it once in a while.

The guy on the radio probably had a point, there were indeed a few dubious moments. But thats how sport plays out and I don't think there will be many Saints fans complaining about the refereeing. We were terrible again.

we do enjoy our flirt with success,winning the cup last year was superb as you lot are well aware..losing is a different matter..i.e losing 3 grand finals takes some swallowing..but you get use to it |

FWIW Excellent performance from the S today. Just shaded out by a decent Hull KR outfit. Hopefully we can get a couple of bodies back for our meeting next week. |

I heard this too, amused me greatly. I'll bet that fan wasn't ringing in and moaning all those times Saints have won games through the referee 
They just can't hack losing a few games. In 5 years they'll be like Wigan fans are now: inflated sense of themselves because they were successful once upon a time  |
