eastmond and tomkins for me

Thomkins and Myler, bring Eastmond off the bench to create an impact if things are going badly.

did`nt know tomkins was on the pitch until the 2nd half...did`nt do to bad considering half the aussies had packed up at h.t...mcguire was awful...get myler out there..may be a bit rusty thru not playing but he cant be any worse

In front of Eastmond, Brough and Burrows? If Myler plays it will be a joke selection. He had not played since July prior to the 4 nations. You can count on one hand the amount of good games he has had at the top level.

In fact I do know why, it's because he has signed for Warrington. Tony Smith looking after the Warrington investment. Tony Smith = corrupt!....Fact!

So how do you explain Myler's appearances at Salford, you boring sod.

Myler at 7, Tomkins at 6 for me, Eastmond at 3 n all, Smith and McGuire were dire against aus.

i think Tomkins and Eastmond are very simaliar type of players. I cant see them working as a 6 and 7. Eastmond i am unsure of what his best postions is.

That's poor by anybodies standards.

Sam, Kyle and Ritchie are all talented good young players, who are offering more promise and potential than we've seen for quite a long time in an England shirt.

Most of his impressive performances for Salford came last season in the National League. This season his performances have been average. Most certainly not of the standard of Danny Brough and Rob Burrows.

How many times did you see him play?

I think it should be Tomkins and Eastmond as they both played well against aus, stick Myler on the bench and change things around if they are not going our way.

We're unsure of what his best position is too! But he did play some of the game yesterday with Tomkins in a 6 and 7 pairing, it was all quite mobile in the second half, even though he was placed in centre defensively. So the pairing may work but it might be too much of a risk to try yet another combination for the Kiwis when we need to be very much playing as a team to stand a chance.

Needless comment. Eastmond is a class act, and as long as he's not tempted by the Union dollars will be a mainstay in this England side for years to come.

I'd have Tomkins and Eastmond with Myler on the bench and would put Ellis in at rigth centre to sure up that side of the field.

I was tempted to say Bridge at right centre but i'm not too sure on his defence. Is he upto it in defence?

Sinfield has to start at 9 after watching the replay of yesterdays game. He got us rolling forward with quick and clever distribution.

Think i'd go 6 Tomkins 7 myler 9 Eastmond.... with 4 forwards on the bench bringing sam burgess on at 13 when eastmond needs interchanging and move sinfield to 9 ...

As much as Roby didn't perform and I think he needs dropping, is it wise to put someone who has never played hooker before a start in that position in an International?

For some reason i'v got it in my head that Eastmond has covered ocaisionally at hooker this year, when cunningham had his knee surgery, and when Roby broke a bone in his hand, but i can't be certain of it ... To be honest though one thing about Eastmond is he seems fearless and i honestly dont think it would bother him where he played ..
