They could only hold the game if the stadium was safe for the public and there was also a lot of work done pre this game, its just that 80% of the real work on projects like this is underground. About ground is basically mechano!

Looking at the supports for the South East corner unlike the seated corner its not the same size as the East and South stands

you know, looking at that, its almost , if not weirder than it looked when we were watching the stadium itself being built,

Are they have corporate/ prawn sandwich suites at the back of the corners they are filling in?

Looking at the plans I don't think so, as the corners don't go as far back as the North and East stands do.



Potential expansion in the future would be to expand the corner(s) and add that floor. Of course the business interest will have to be there for that to happen. The building of the other corners will come first.

The only light disapointment is the top of the south stand is lower than the top of the east stand and the new corner has been simply continued round at the height of the south, instead of somehow trying to stagger the difference. Be interesting to see what the step down looks like when complete.

It will look really good when it is fully enclosed in 15 months time.

Are they going to close the NW and SW corners, i thought they left them to aid the pitch maintenance?

Wish they'd sort out that random block of yellow seats at the back of the North stand (East side) while they're at it, always wondered what that was all about.

NW probably, thats why they have changed the seat number this year
SW -unlikely to be for spectators but there are rumours of it being turned into a media/scoreboard corner. You can never rule it out though as the club have said this expansion will take capacity from 13k to15.5k with a view of increasing to 18k
