Westerman was decent for us and has been very good for Wakefield since joining. I’d have him at 13 over Hughes any day of the week.

Westerman was ok for us without ever justifying the transfer fee I felt (although assuming we got the money off Toronto before they went pop, we should have made most of that back).

As a player I would take him for a 13 role, big, mobile and a good set of hands, however, he's had his issues and they seem to follow him about. In a recent interview he claimed he was much more focused on RL these days so maybe he's sorted himself out and that has resulted in his upturn in form for Wakey. He always looked to have great potential.

On the other players mentioned, Oledski obviously came through Leeds academy, Tetevano is on marquee money I believe ( I think we were linked to him before wage demands put us out of the picture?) Mau'u is a back rower and not had any great impact at Hull. Similarly Savelio is a back rower, and given his reputation, I wouldn't be keen to see him back - again though, great potential.

Satae and Sao however have been great acquisitions for Hull from relative obscurity - it shows there are players out there, if they get Taylor back fully fit they have a solid pack for next year.

I'm praying Powell doesn't see the same things in Hughes that price obviously did! A back row of Holmes, currie and longstaff will do me just fine.

Be interesting if we have a captain that doesn't play.

Powell has form for getting the best out of players but no-one could polish that excreta. The alternative to Sita is to not have Sita and that's preferable.

A lot will depend on bullock his interview indicates he's hills replacement and is up for the challenge, he has the size hopefully he needs a change of scenery, and Powell has the reputation of getting these type of players performing.
Harrison's injury is a blow I had him down as the signing that would exceed expectations of him and it's only since his injury I've started to worry about the prop options

Christ i Like Sita as he's a really nice guy, but yeah no U-turn on him please.
If we just need a squad filler Prop who's good and will do a job i'd rather pick up Josh Bowden.
But unless something is in the pipeline i firmly believe we are done on the signing front.

I was told that Price didn't wan't to give him too much time as he was saving him for the GF.

Even after 10 minutes he was blowing, struggling to get back in the line, lazy in defence. For whatever the reason he appears to have no stamina at all. We can’t carry a player like that. It’s not fair on the other props.

Luckily we didn’t need him as we had successfully appealed Cooper’s ban..

I don’t know which “undroppables” you mean but Sita had ample opportunity to stake a claim. He was given a contract extension which in itself showed the club saw far more in him than I ever did. I’m sure he is a lovely man, he certainly came across that way, but the contribution was minimal.

Well if he's puffing & blowing after 10 minutes then maybe a fitness programme should have been followed & should have been implemented during his first season.
