Allow me to make my point again for the third time.

I do not care what year green/red or green/white were used as playing colours for Warrington R.L.F.C.

The OFFICIAL colours are primrose and blue and not some marketing inspired creation thought up by an executive that has us looking more like Warrington Rabbithos.

Which we will be wearing at home. Liverpool's colour is red but I've never seen them release a red away kit.

The kit posted above is the best away kit Wire have had in the time I've been going (since 1994) in my opinion. Next year's and the first black Canterbury one are joint second.

'Tis indeed it was. If anything we should be playing in an all black kit if you want traditional.

Anything slightly out of the ordinary for our bandwagon supporters and they have a mass hissy fit. Jeez, its an away kit, we have had a variety of colours ranging from green & red to black, white and grey over the past fourteen years. Get over it FFS and stop making it the be all and end all of WWRLFC.

Also its better that the away kit is different to the home as we don't want one too similar to the home one to avoid clashes when we play away to teams who have similar colours to our home colours.

It was known as the 'Christmas Tree' kit, it was red and green hoops with a white v-neck, there must be some pictures knocking about because they used to wear it to every away game even when there was a clash eg at St Helens who had even more red on their kits than usual that year too.

Looked ridiculous.

That's a great shirt. I remember seeing a young kid wearing it at the match last season too so it must have been his dad's as he wouldn't have been born when it was out!

That top only really has bad memories because I think we ended 4th (but sh*te away from home) and then about 11th (a couple of points off the drop in a 14 team top division) in the two seasons we had that kit, remember watching them at Castleford when they wore that top and got absolutely stuffed about 40-8 or something, which in those quagmire days was a right hammering, with a long trip back along the 62 in bleak conditions to go with it



Allan Bateman, Chris Rudd and Greg Mackey were the only decent players we had that year - Forster and Gregory were long-term injuries and Dave Lyon and Gary Mercer were sulking.

Correct me if i'm wrong but thie new kits are virtually the same design as last years kits, but just different colours. Why all the fuss if everybody loved the old kits???

The shorts and socks dont match

i really like your away kit, if i weren't a saints fan i think i would buy one... Which leads me to this... Would u go out and buy another teams top just because you like it? Nrl teams dont count.. I mean, would u buy a bradford top, or wigan or saints, just cause you liked the design?

Myself i would never wear another teams shirt. not a chance. good design or not my heart is in that wire badge.

I bought a catalans shirt for me dad when we went away the first time. Kinda wish i'd kept it. Also would have had that Sheffield eagles shirt with the blue eagle on if it'd have come out a few years later when i were old enough to pay for one!

Looks like a training top, but i dont spose theres far you can go with saints except make the chevron bigger/smaller.
