I know, I mean kick-off on the 7th. I am guessing 8pm given it's a weekday. I'll be boarding a plane then. Pretty gutted

On a serious note, why has a week on Wednesday been picked instead of, say, next weekend?

Miffed about the weather, there will be a reason why its being played on a Wednesday instead of a Sunday.

A Wednesday seems a strange decision to be honest, there has to be a reason other than pure stupidity for the game not being next weekend.

I would think that to play next weekend would cut short any proposed break the players have for Ney Year. Let's not forget, from late January that's it until September or October fingers crossed.

Don't the team have to fit a week's warm weather training in too whenever that might be ?

We should have a Leigh v Wire pre season game at the LSV with undersoil heating guaranteeing the fixture

We should still have it though, a fixture both clubs could plan around knowing it would be on. Had it a few times when LSV opened and then last season, also played boxing day at yours in 2007?

The last few v Widnes have been at their place with them having an iPitch and that. Not sure why we were hosting this year.

Is the rescheduled game definitely going to be 8pm? I have tried calling the club shop and ticket line for the past three days and nobody is picking up the phone.

That would be because the shop is closed.

I had thought it said somewhere that the shop would be open. Maybe I made it up in my head because they told me the shop would be open on the Sunday for the game. I'll try to remember to engage my brain next time...

It was open last Monday as I went in. Per website its open tomorrow 9am to 5pm

The club website on its front page twitter display have stated 7 30 pm kick off next Wednesday, probably because it isn't tied to sky schedules.

Have also heard that the turnstiles wont be opening until 6.30pm (I think Benny's testimonials was 1 hour before kick off as well)
