| No 8 point try.
Clubb and his blatant professional foul when the Wigan line wasn't set should habe been a yellow.
A few incidents in which you feel if the team wasn't a big club they would have been penalised.
Please Mr Ganson.
Can you look at players not playing the ball, players moving off the mark so that they play the markers offside, players mouthing off at refs.
It it takes Child/Hicks proportion of penalties in the beginning to sort out i don't mind but loving chuff it is doing my box in now. We are just as guilty too with that.

| I would say Wigans attack is one dimensional but I think that would be giving them too much credit. Is there such a thing as 'no dimensional'?
Widnes certainly have lots of pace in the team but without Kevin Brown they would be lost.

What is the official capacity? We had a 14000+ back in 2013. Only remember that as it was a rare Monday night game, we beat Wigan and I had to go into work on the Tuesday with a horrendous hangover!

Wigan let him go as they needed to make room for fielden coming in during 06, and he was largely a here or there centre. Obviously him and robinson formed a pretty good partnership, then he moved back this side of the pennines to be closer to home, but after they'd signed brough.

If you go on the goons board they seem to thinktheir attack is geared up for having stomkins in the backline, obviously stomkins isn't in the team so makes it a bit futile, however i'd dispute that point as well, they're just blunt.

Because Wigan had
Trent Barrett - Thomas Leuluai - Sam Tomkins (in the wings)

Actually I don't think KB had a particularly outstanding game last night.
Don't get me wrong he was still influential, but I think Wigan restricted his role somewhat with their tactics.
His kicking wasn't as good as I've seen etc.
Having said that, Hanbury more than stepped up to the mark.
Marsh had a good game but their other winger didn't particularly (can't remember his name).
Forwards were what struck me.
With basically the same pack as last year they really stood up to be counted.
Don't know quite why it should appear this year.
Full of admiration for Widnes.

| Wigan's attack is just the same as it ever is but no penetration as yet. Tomkins will just do his usual which most teams can't defend against.

I think official capacity is 15,200, biggest attendance was back in 2012 (I think) when we had 15k on against Saints.....

| All geared up for a full house next Friday.
1. Not on Sky
2. Demics playing well ( Got to bring a big following)
3. We win tonight and it could be for the top of the table. Points difference dependent.
4. Feel good factor around the towns is high.
5. Cheshire Derby
6. Not on Sky
Be good to see the house full signs but i predict 14500. I bet sky are chuffed that they continue to screen to bottom of the table Dull derby.

Can not see how teams can plan to play against him unless they take him out the game completely, loved it when he grabbed the badge after that try in second half he is obviously now enjoying it here.

I wouldn't pay any attention to them. They were claiming it was Widnes' year the night before and Hull's year three weeks ago. It's been your year for the last four according to Sky and the previous four to that it was ours. They mention Old Trafford anytime a team competes a set!

Probably not as its not on Sky! Just like the Challenge Cup seemingly doesn't exist with them, our game on Friday won't until the next time time either of us are on Sky and the winners will be billed as "Grand Final elect" in March!

I think Brown and the backs generally for Widnes looked nervous, until late in the game when they started coming back into it. So many fumbles near the line... Wigan looked exhausted in the final quarter though, and their kick pressure was just non-existent which was shocking given how important Widnes' kicking game is to them.
I've been very impressed with Widnes so far, but I'm hoping that our fitness levels and kick pressure tactics will be able to shut them down pretty well.

I've been impressed with them too, especially with ball in hand. Both sets of fans will no doubt go in to it thinking they could come away with the win.
I think we will throw much more at them through the middle than anyone else they have faced this year, Hill even by his standards has been outstanding and Sims has really stepped up (Is Westwood due back?) I missed the home game vs Cas, can't remember the last time I missed a game at the H&J. From the highlights I saw the offload game we had prior to 2014 seemed to be back with avengeance. Conversely they will test us on the flanks more than we have so far this year so Atkins & Evens will need to be up to the task.
Really looking forward to it, should be a good game.
