Wow what's pathetic is everyone jumping on and exaggerating a poorly executed tackle. In what has been a game in which in the whole we have played well and forthe first time in ages. Everyone wants the ball everyone is playing for each other.

Game over, we are in massive massive trouble for top 5 now and rightly so any side that wins 2-8 deserves to drop in the table considerably. Discipline creeping in again now. Saints kids have shown up just as well as ours.

This is a professional sport, these are the two best teams in super league.

I'd give my all if I played for Warrington but I'd be laughably bad. Losing isn't good, however you do it.

I don’t come on here often and I currently watching this in germany. However, yes we are coming up short again against stains but..... we are down on subs the guys are up against it and you know what we are not putting in a bad shift. As was suggested everyone is turning up for each other. When was the last time we could say that? Looking at the players how much game time have they had together? Virtually nil. Match fitness. Our half back pairing has never been tried but give a couple of games and lets go! I’m expecting some come back but this is not a bad performance against a fully fit if not fully firtst team stains side.

Exactly fella, all this whooping and cheering we’ve negatively took the two twice and the kids have been just about been ok. Saints kids have shown how many levels above they are and that’s the sad reality they have probably more academy out here and we’re carrying players like tasi and sita

I think we've done well really, happy with the young lads, livett is a centre all day long and deserves a shot there next season. We have gifted two really poor tries which have killed the game but effort and commitment has been great tonight, especially with 2 subs Down after 20 mins.

Good effort lads, we have done much better than I expected.

If you can’t appreciate how well THAT team competed in very trying conditions (lack of replacements in particular) then I wonder what you want.

Well for me - ok we lost - and again gave away a few stupid pens but i actually quite enjoyed that and it WAS good to see some new faces.
Ratch was top draw, and excellent performance from Matt Davis and Lama T
Given we lost 2 players early on and then BMM later on I thought we did pretty well and played with some spirit.
We've got some good youngsters, but I have to say that Saints youngsters are really good.

Quite literally men against boys. At least we was in it for much of the first half...it was always going to be a 30 to Saints.

Disappointed with Ratchford's boot. I couldn't understand why we constantly kick deep from a restart when chasing the game and in contrast Thompson kicked of either touchline with ease.

Plenty of mitigating circumstances tonight but people are acting like we played against a world class team, we didn't.

Tad harsh. If Price hadn’t been so obstinate and let him play a few games then perhaps his fitness might be up by now, we all know training well isn’t the same as a full pelt game. He wasn’t bad, not outstanding but he didn’t give any penalties away AFAIK and made a handful of good tackles.

I do fear Wembley will be a televised, pre watershed bumming, though. Their second string just put five tries past us and the gulf was evident no matter how valiant/depleted we were.

True - I thought we may have seen more tactical kicks, but given that he had 1 training session erg it would have been a big ask for him to dominate.

We did though, personnel isnt the be all and end all. The way Holbrook has saints playing, moving the ball and attacking is world class. He's an incredible coach and that's why he's been poached by the NRL. The scary thing is they have more to come with Coote back in, they're the best by a long way. Doesn't mean they will win anything but hats off to them.

No they aren’t a world class team but...we had a 17 year old stand off playing with a scrum half who joined the club 2 days ago. We had a centre playing his first full game of rl. We had a 17 year old playing on the wing against the golden boot winner. If you expected anything than a trouncing then you are beyond optimistic, it wasn’t a trouncing therefore positives to be taken...especially after the effects of Saturday.
