Unlike RD I'm a fan of Sims but at times I think he gets carried away with the fact he is an ex NRL player... he thinks he can do things he clearly cant...offloading is one of them.....

Very happy to have been proved wrong (with my prediction we'd get a pasting today). Excellent to see Penny back and the difference having a winger with pace brings for us in attack, he doesn't even look to have got out of 3rd gear when in space for his try or the build up to the last. I really wish Sims would run it in hard instead of turning 2m before contact in prep for an offload.

Shaky start and too many errors/penalties, but we seem to be hitting out stride now. Catalan have been a disaster, though.

Only watched bits of the first half so only saw two of his offloads but don't think it's unreasonable to expect Ratchford and Russell (might be mistaken on the second one) to catch those IMO...

Fair point but you haven't commented on any of the other 11 errors or penalties. Any reason why not? Maybe they are your 'favoured' players and you'd prefer not to criticise. I think Sims is ok, no world beater but full of heart. To constantly single him out for criticism seems a little unbalanced to me but each to their own I suppose.
