Is it “irony” that a supporter of a team including one J Wilkin complains about an opposition player constantly whingeing to the ref.
Or how about the team that lost taking it on the chin, whereas the winners are complaining about the ref etc? (To answer my own question, the answer to the second is “it’s not irony, it’s class”.)

Saints have a huge tradition of players that like to get in the refs ear.. Wellens, Graham, Pryce, Shorpe,Cunningham, Wilkin, LMS.. They are just off the top of my head

Saints playing great rugby this year, but it doesn't seem to be effecting attendance that much. What would happen if they had a season like Leeds, or our season last year. Would Totally Wicked become a ghost town just like their forum.

Pains me to ever agree with a saints fan, but ratchford IS a terrible tackler.

That's one heck of a coma you had been under.

The game moved on 25 years ago when coaches realised a fullback isn't a goal keeper.
The defence is a line is a unit not a single man. Some of RL all time best FB were by themselves the weakest tacklers or hardly put a finger in the tackle.

I actually agree with RD I'd like Ratchford to be a better tackler but he offers so much more great under a high ball and if we can get him on the ball our attacks are generally more fluid and easy on the eye

As poor as Ratchfords defence is (and it is improving) it is still steets ahead of Barba's. I've seen him on 3 separate occasions this season actively avoid a tackle that led to a try..and I've not seen him every week. Obviously he more than makes up for it - well he did until a month ago when he turned into Jack Owens.
