You got a good point there mate,Saturday and sunday games will be much better ragardng more attendance.

The RFL should really look into these type,s of fixtures and think what is best for the fans.Also to benefit Clubs like crusaders,quins and catalans!

Completely agree about Friday nights. It must really hit clubs that rely on away supporters for a large proportion of their attendance due to the travelling time. I don't finish work until 7 on a Friday so I can't make it tomorrow, but would definitely have gone if the match was on a Sunday.

Can you pay on the gate or do you have to ring the ticket office?

You can't pay on the gate, you have to go into the club shop and buy tickets from there if it is the same as last year. How much is it to pay on the day my dad aint paying till tomorrow as only just decided to go.

My father in law has just phoned and said apparently the ticket office has been shutting at 7.30, leaving people ticket-less, and there have been loads of complaints.

Last season there was no pay on the gate, you had to queue at the ticket office to buy a ticket and then use that to gain entry.
Whilst I was at our club shop today a Wire fan who went last year said he missed the first 15 minutes of the game because the queue at the ticket office for the Wire end was so big.

So get there early and there will be no problems.

Yes, for us it can make a huge difference. For example the Hull teams. Not many fans can make it on a Friday, as it takes them a good 2 1/2 hours to get to our place, if not more. On a Saturday or Sunday, no worries. It annoys me, becuase the club actually choose their preferred matchday. I swear they want to work against themselves rather than for themselves at times. In regards to tickets. You can't pay on the gate. We have an early bird system. This way you have to buy before 5pm tomorrow to get discount. If you haven't got tickets already, I would advise that you phone up tomorrow and pre-book your tickets so you simply just have to pick them up before the game. Hope this helps

Well, last season we played the majority of our home fixtures on a Sunday. There was never any problems with that. The only games that were moved to a Friday or Saturday were moved by Sky, because of selection to be on TV. Don't know why they changed things. You could clearly see that Sunday games were good for us from last seasons attendances. 4,600 average attendance for our first season in Wrexham was fairly good in my opinion. Think it was just lazy decision making when selecting matchday if I'm honest. A big mistake!

They must change the day and times for any improvement to clubs i think.

Just bought my ticket by phone and the away end is sold out - I'm in the Yale stand. Sounds like a big Wire turn-out.

The Eric Roberts Builders Stand where the the away fans at situated holds 3800 according to a couple of sites. With a couple of hundred in other stands thats a good following on a Friday night.. fine weather too.

The whole stand isn't open though, only the upper tier.

The upper teir is just over 2000 - still a good turnout.

The offer has finished now just rang up.

Silly date to have the rugby on at crusaders really,Would have thought they,d change it to a saturday or even sunday?

Would this be the same RFL who a few years ago had thousands of us travelling on a Friday night to play Leeds in the playoffs whereas Salfords few hundred fans could take their time travelling on a Saturday afternoon for a Saturday evening kickoff at sOdall?

I heard a lady in the club shop first thing yesterday say that we has already sold nearly 2,000 tickets then.

I think it will be about 2,800 from Warrington.

Just mentioning its abit difficult for the lower teams to get attendances as it is never mind a friday night to get to places when people have work etc.
