I don't understand why teams don't go for the 1 more often, you get the ball back 6 more to go, especially last 10 mins, just as a time wasting tactic too.

Don't necessarily get the ball back - 4 points up, go for the 1, 5 points up. Short kick off, lose the ball grab and the opposition has 6 tackles starting on your 40 mtr line.

I wish that Cullen's analysis lasted a bit longer, I really enjoy having sides of the game that I don't appreciate explained to me.

Agreed. I'd listen to any elite level coach doing that spot, it's brilliant.

If a few of the quotes above came from Cull then he must read a chapter of Wayne Bennet's book each night before he goes to bed. He does a good job on sky but I wish he would have more time to go into some of the things that he picks up on. I used to enjoy Tony Rae do a similar stint on Boots n all as well.
