thats because in wendyball the away end at the DW is always 3/4 - full thus that only puts around 13-14k tics as home fans and a lot of them are not true tics there're mancs or scousers that cant afford or get st's for their own club and use the tics as way of seeing their own club once or twice a season.

True, and its not 18500. They get masses of away support and they lie about crowds constantly anyway. Add that to the fact that they are still over achieving and that is why the crowds are at least decent.

We get much more home support though and far better away support.

Less than 1,700 left at Wigan now. That means Wigan have sold over 17,000 tickets.

I'm really disappointed with the club.

This game has been labeled as the 'Big one Two' and everybody can't wait for it. I can't understand why Wire are not letting us in to how many tickets have been sold each day, they have to write a number down everytime they sell a ticket anyway. People like to know how many fans there would be and it would be eaiser to see if the game is going to sellout.

I'll get somebody moaning saying, "Do it yourself - it's not a easy job", "Stop critising the club!"

been into club today and told allocation for wire is 4000 and upto now approx 2500 sold but selling fast.

I was told 3k last night.

2500 sold should sell rest nxt few days while i was in there for 5 mins at least 30 were sold

only been allocated 4k thought away end holds 5.5k

It actually is 5,000 due to H+S. It's unreserved seating so they keep 500 seats free.

It's the same in the south stand which means anything close to 24k is pretty much a sell-out.

Great news as Wigan only have 1,200 left. It's looking as though there will 23K+ there on Friday which will be the highest attendance at the DW this year for any game, RL or football.

22,113 is the figure to beat(Wigan Athletics highest attendance for the 2009 - 2010 season)

north stand holds 5392 if its less 500 for health and safety and they may keep some back for pay on the gate, should be full and cant wait atmosphere and game should be electric.
