Josh Charnley and Tomkins said its unbelievable they have reached a wembley final.....
why arent they towing the line They should quite clearly have said :
"its a bit of a dissapointment the Cup's lost all its romance since 1996, it should really go the same way as the county cups, thanks Tanya" |

I can already see how useless S.Tomkins will be in the 4 nations, constantly ignoring Wigan overlaps to go on his own( hype is making him even more greedy it seems)... the only difference being, when 3 aussies are in the tackle they will smash him, not let him reach out and place the ball down.

Going back to the original thread.....
Wigan won because of their great defence, but as a 'spectacle' I just hope it's not the way forward for other teams.
I was distinctly underwhelmed by the match. Glad I wasn't paying.

ok, the game wasn't a classic but semi finals can be tense and nervous for the teams taking part. There is a lot to gain and also lose in a semi. IMO getting the victory is the most important thing, if the game is a classic that's a bonus.
Lose a semi and the wembley dream is gone. The Wire have lost numerous over the years so we know what its like. Fortunately we have had the pleasure of the two wins.
Wigan seemed to have the edge over saints today, even with all the saints possession in the first half. Good comeback by saints but a little too late.
