Is less than 48 hours enough time to fully recover for a massive match though?

Lots of different equations, how much exertion in tonight's game and if something is wrong with anyone in the 19 atm, will only know come Saturday afternoon.

Lineham is not even playing in the reserves.(who are playing tonight.) It is not looking good for him

Reserves beat Saints 26-12 tonight does anyone know if Penny played any minutes? Was hoping he was in on Sat.

He started on the wing according to Twitter. Not sure if he played the full game though.

I have no idea what is going on with Lineham.

My guess is he was brought in on Agar's say - same as Westerman, albeit Joe had played with TS before I think.
So how the hell can things be going soo badly for him?

Either Agar is a complete ***** when it comes to understanding a player - one he's worked with for some time, or Tom has some real real problems that need serious help. Or does he just need to grow up?

Heard Lineham is not wanted. Apparently we offered him to Cats, but they didn't want him.

Why would he have been bought on Agars say? Lineham was there in Agars final season at Hull, but it was his first season playing there, I doubt Lineham even played a first team game under Agar.

I think the benefits of Lineham were pretty clear while at Hull, big, fast and strong.

I just think he has been given a few bits to work on. Same as Clark last year, he put on a lot of weight and focused on his defence, leaving the natural bits to one side.

I'm just hoping the penny drops for Lineham and he works out how much of a big unit he is and is and realises he can do much more than just put the ball down if he puts his mind to it.

It's not looking good for him, I would love him to come good and believe he will at some point (perhaps not at wire). If (big if) he isn't showing willingness to work on his game and has a poor attitude then surely he has to be moved on.

I'm guessing that Ratchford might not be cleared to play after his head knock last week? Hence Patton's inclusion?

Patton played in reserves last night, doesn't mean he couldn't back up but others think it unlikely, Penny also played last night.

Think you guys have a much better squad on paper.. I just don't hope you guys run away with it; I hope it's a good game for all the neutrals at home and the best team wins.

i'd have him on his own schedule at the moment, consisting of weight loss, permanently turning and chasing kicks in behind him (reactions) and learning to not come in off his wing, by getting someone to stand with a brush handle with a screw driver on the end of it, if he comes in at the wrong time, he gets a jab in the chest.

Sounds fair enough, good talking to and dropped to think about what you (haven't) done isn't working so far. I really do want him to come good, Lineham at his best would be great to have for some of the big matches coming up, if we win tomorrow and the idea of making a Wembley match day squad doesn't wake him up then what will?

Sorry, but I don't think that works as Patton played for the reserves last night. Even if he played for half the game, he could easily pick up a broken leg or a concussion which would keep him out of the CC semi. Surely not a risk the coach would make with the most important game of the season so far coming up. So I suspect his inclusion is a nod from TS to say he is doing well and that he will get his chance again.

It always amazes me how Agar always gets wheeled out even if there is the slightest chances of the wheels falling the Wire campaign wagon.

Ultimately the call on recruitment is TS's so he takes the rap, but in my view Agar would have had a major say - a recommendation. It's simply illogical that he wouldn't have had.
Decisions on the rest of the 2016 recruitment - for me at least - is very positive.
I'd say all others are performing at least at the level we expected, and many far better than that hoped for.

But I don't think this has much to do with 'the wheels falling off the wagon'.
I'm confident that with this squad we will get to Wembley and be in the top 4, irrespective of whether Lineham plays or not.
And then it's all down to who performs on the day.

From what I have seen Lineham has neither the attitude or application to sort his career out. He needs to grow up.

Whoever sanctioned his signing needs a reality check.
