couldn't make Hull on friday due to lack of funds. A double decker bus full of wire fans drove past at about 4.15pm as i walked my dog on Orford park. They were singing that horrible pie song

The FA Cup game last season was nothing like that. We do get way too many tourists in our away end at Old Trafford for league games though. I acknowledge they probably pay ten times more than I do for their tickets, but having a Yank couple chatting away cheerfully behind you as you lose 2-0 or dispassionate far eastern fellas standing next to you as you win 4-1 in one of the biggest games of the season, while you've got good ticketless mates sitting at home, is grim.

It beats Tom Hark though...

If people have travelled to a game and paid to get in they can shout/sing/chant whatever the hell they want so long as it doesn't offend people. Just a thought...

There is a certain snobbery on this board at times, and it seems that if the song/chant wasn't sung back in the 80's then it's just not good enough.

to be fair At Least wire fans can sing along to that with out the need for a record accompaniment. when the kop needs a record sticking on 2 minutes before kick off to get them to do a sing along to Gerry Marsdens YNWA i dont think you have any grounds to have a pop at wire fans.....
