Lose in the playoffs just before the Grand Final.

All in all an excellent season and much better than last season overall, even though last year we won a trophy and this one we didn't

Win or lose I believe St Helens can still win the leagueleaders shield --8pts behind with 10 on offer. Leeds still can (9 behind) as well.

Nah, we won't win the hubcap this season. We have yet to string more than four wins together. There is no way we will win all our remaining matches even though, in theory, we have the easiest run-in we have had in years. Likewise, Leeds are not up to much this season. They only beat Hudds because Hudds couldn't convert their own tries. While that means they have two points out of the match, they'll be pushed to string enough wins together to make it to the top. You and the pies would have to go through a crisis for either us or Leeds or indeed Hull to grab top spot. IMO it's down to either you or the goons. Let's hope it's you!

Stastical answer..... they can still win it....I agree with you though that they wont. Wigan and Wolves fighting for top spot. Saints and Leeds to battle for the rights of who they are away to.

Perfectly logical, as would be a view that we will win one of the two trophies. In the Challenge Cup, especially, if we get to the final then we are capable on our day of beating Leeds or Saints. The GF takes more winning, so more obstacles in the way.

Certainly not writing them off for the cup or GF but winning the hubcap may be beyong them. Results would REALLY have to go their way.

You'll finish 1st or 2nd now. Saints are too far behind and I think we've conceded that aswell. We've been coasting along in some games for a while now, particularly against the teams lower down and have turned up in the bigger games e.g. Wigan and Leeds. We need you to lose 3 of your games and by a bit of a margin aswell due to points difference, which I don't think will happen. I think you'll lose one or two at most.

The Challenge Cup is your best chance of success IMO, but facing Leeds or Saints in the final is a tough ask. I imagine you'd go in as slight underdogs for that.

The Play Offs really depends on injuries nearer the time. I'd personally back us (Saints) and Leeds if at full strength just for experience and ability but Wigan and Wire are certainly in the driving seat having home advantage in the early stages. Either way, a possibility of Wigan v Leeds and Warrington v Saints in round one (and possibly the Semi Finals) is a mouth watering prospect.

The treble isn't beyond you, but at the same time it's a very tough ask and takes a special team to do it, especially when you consider your record against Wigan, Saints and Leeds this year. I think even at this stage Warrington should be proud of their season. Going from 10th to a top 2 finish and possibly another Challenge Cup Final is a good season in anyone's book.

Thats OK coz I was talking to Saints fans in January who were talking about getting back to OT to get revenge on Leeds even before they played, never mind won, a single game. At least we waited until we were in a position of being second in the league, cup semi-final and showing that in a "play-off rugby" situation we can compete with the best.

Think we will win something this season, suspect it will be the CC with hopefully a grand final appearance. Whatever it has been a hell of an improvement from the dross of the past few seasons (2005 excepted)

Saints and Leeds have all the experiece and they will be tough if we have either of them at home. We have as far as I recall only ever won one playoff game so to go from that to winning a GF would be some going.

It has been a long time since this late in the season that we are still in all competitions and that is a great achievement.

I think there is agood chance we will leave this season with nothing in terms of silverware. However we would need to implode to finish worse than 2nd and I think Wigan sre starting to wobble. They have still got to go to Hull and Leeds in the league yet.

that loss to us going to hit them quite hard and think they may struggle at hull but play well against leeds but the win depends on how they play on the day

Personally hope Wire do get to OT,1 thing it will do is liven the place up after the last 3 years,,well sorry but after Leeds v Saints 3 times on the bounce,the atmos got worse and worse....

plus attendance dropped 2 years running because of them again.
