On the Matt King front he is starting to show signs of the player we thought we signed still room for improvement but getting there,I would be more worried if there was no improvement but since the Quinns game he has been one of our stand out players imo and has led by example !

well regardless of anyone's opinion, he's got more of a record at centre than simon grix has, and grix up till yesterday has been looking the more impressive.

Smiths first game, v Leeds, I thought King was excellent at centre, We haven't seen him there since which I've found a little surprising.

Atkins is nothing special, and why should Cas part with one of their best youngsters? Let's not start sounding like Wigan in the 1980s when they just bought everyone.

Grix is a good back row/loose forward and has worked hard at centre but is out of position. If Gleeson goes Johnson should be right centre where he played very successfuly for the Pies before going to the Bulls and converting to a forward.

I like Atkins, but he's pledged his future to Wakefield. I'm starting to find him a bit one dimensional when I watch him too, he's strong as an ox, but you get a fair amount of joy out of him defensively. We've got our own centre that struggles with side of his game.

Shenton, I'd love, but I just don't think he'll leave there, I really don't. There's not many decent centres about, hence why Saints have Gilmour filling in, Nero, Baile, Bailey, Ablett, Clubb, Raguin last year etc. There's more & more backrowers playing centre, I think because of the lack of centres kicking about, and the physicality of our backrowers, they can do both roles.

We've got lots of options at centre right now, Grix, King, PJ, Anderson, Bridge, Blythe (at a push), Reardon once fit, Hicks (at a push)

I'm not sure realisitically who'll be available, that's obviously the biggest problem, I'd be happy at the the end of the year if we picked up say Craig Hall, Cudjoe & Lee Smith, something like that, 3 young, exciting english backs. Maybe Goulding too.

Matt King has got the pace to be a winger for me but as said before he has been one of the better players recently

i think Ts will play him in the when Kings confidence returns thats why he s out on the winger
