The game was shocking, Catalans are pure Thugs and got away with it, we're regressing in skill and are absolutely out of ideas.
Patton would proberbly have to shoot Prices wife to be dropped, Phil clark said "Catalans know Patton has to stand up now Austin is off"..........ha ha ha ha ha he has stood up your seeing him week to week at his absolute best at half back. He played the best games i've ever seen him play as a back up hooker, he's nowhere near good enough for halfback.
I'd take Matt Smith on loan in place of patton as he's clearly not wanted by Catalans. Austin will finally get a rest through injury and hopefully it's not serious.
Our fans are a disgrace and made us look as dirty as the catalan and Wigan players. No excuse what so ever and an absolute disgrace from Sky deciding to actually show it.
The ref and linesmen need to be dropped but they won't as they are untouchable. Really mickey poor disgraceful game all round. Shows how bad it is when Austin said to the ref "I've got kids to go home to, that was a dangerous tackle' to the ref, RFL needs to take action immediately on everything.'"

You’re a small club who has a bunch of hardmen wannabe teenagers running around causing trouble, this is the 5th or 6th time your fans have caused fights this season alone, no one thinks you’re big or clever, you’ll always be known as bottlers and the joke of SL and ironically your fans represent that picture perfectly

Yes. That may have been how it started, but what followed was clearly just indiscriminate violence for the sake of it. I've got friends who were there and they didn't get involved in the fighting, choosing to walk down the stand rather than run up it to get involved. They've described how the sponsors lounge was a mix of French and English people, including families of players of both sides and former players and your own sponsors. Once people climbed up into the box they were just attacking anyone, you can see this on the videos on Twitter. You can also see plenty of fighting just breaking out in the terracing amongst Warrington fans. A combination of the heat, alcohol, provocation and losing the game is a bad combination.
Rugby League has a growing problem with violence IMO. It tends to show it's head most at Old Trafford, which is regularly riddled with violence and disorder due to people drinking and not being able to cope, particularly in the losing teams end. Warrington, as with a few other teams, do have a problem in this regard.
It needs to be stamped out. Warrington, Catalans, the French police and the RFL/SL need to get together and ban everyone they can prove was involved in the violence. Both sides also need to be punished for the game in general, it really was a farce. Special attention needs to be given to Kenny Edwards who has previous after being accused but ultimately let off with deliberately throwing a ball at a child in last year's cup semi final. Both clubs should face sanctions, possibly points deductions and fines. If they let this slide with the usual RFL tactic of a nasty letter and a £1,000 fine it's wrong.

The whole game? Chris Hill for one is the main culprit, he's meant to be your captain. Watch the game back and watch how he interacts with the referee throughout the game. He's always the same, completely ignores the referee and everything he says then makes a childish comment. His behaviour at the end was ridiculous. He spent five minutes refusing to let the referee finish the game and the repeated swearing at the referee was ridiculous. The mass brawl at the end alone was enough for a 'failure to control their players' type fine. They won't do anything, but both sides should be punished. |

Take those redvee glasses off and you’ll see that LMS is the mouthiest culprit in the league, or one of them. Equal to Hill if not worse. Anyway, with regards to today’s game, Hill had every right to disrespect Child given his total lack of control over how Catalans chose to dictate the game, if the referee tried to protect players from flying knees, headshots and other niggle then maybe Hill and others would listen to him and show more respect. |

I'll agree with you on Chris Hill as he was a bloody idiot and I've had enough of him, great player but would happily see him leave. Other than that I thought we did little wrong. Even our supposed high shots looked very dubious.

Warrington were just as bad as Catalans, you probably lost the penalty count in that game. LMS is your pantomime villian, he high fives, beats his chest and celebrates everything, but he's a world away from Hill. |

It looked as though Sita was racing in with a high elbow instead of his usual shoulder charge, Edwards could see what was coming and executed a high shot. Instead of letting the ref deal with it, it seemed as though Chris Hill wanted to ref the game again he really needs a brain cell implant in the off season, I can only assume he wears a skull cap to stop him bursting a blood vessel in his head. |

Equal to Hill or worse you need your head shaking. LMS is just a drama queen but he's not in the same ball park as Hill, LMS is also pretty disciplined only given 3 penalties away this season where as Hill is almost 5 times as worse with around 14 penalties this season so far and climbing. You need a captain with composure these days and Hill is the opposite of that, Ratchford should be given that job. |
