He's off the cuff at times but something like that may spark everyone else to push on.

Questioned him in the past when first mentioned as thought needed a more structured half back but Gidley can provide that as Hodgson did. Let's see Sandow rip it up for a couple of years and he could still go back the NRL after that if he wanted to.

All seems to be about intertwined contracts third party and all that if he's owed by third parties then leave that to the legals, the Eels on the other hand have said Sandow can go but have not sacked him so he's still contracted, I would think like a few others that the clubs are deep into negotiations.

Have you seen him play much? Whilst he is a very exciting attacking player, the deficiencies in his game are exactly the same as the current crop of Warrington halfbacks. His reputation in the NRL is of a player who fails to control the game, takes unnecessary risks, is weak defensively and who ultimately goes missing in the big games.

If he makes Wire a sensational attacking side and you smash Hull KR and Salford by a hundred, then he disappears as you fall out of the play offs at Wigan is he an improvement?

No, out current HB's have no creativity, dont have a kicking game and cant burst through the defensive line.. Sandow ticks all of those boxes... Gidley will be organizing the side.

I do hope so. With hundreds of years of watching rugby league between us, we know far more than a coach who has won Challenge Cups, League Leader's Shields, Grand Finals (and WCC?). And we wouldn't have employed Agar. Or allowed that roaring success of the past two years Garreth Carvell to leave, or that one pulling up trees in the Championship Paul Wood.
