I agree King had a decent game yesterday unlike alot of others in the p&b and he did not deserve to be singled out.

Exactly, every action has a reaction. King's hand gesture was a reaction from abuse he received from a supporter.

Why was he being abused when he was playing well

The abuse I saw/heard him get was AFTER the hand gesture thingy. Abuse before that was directed toward the team as a whole (Not fit to wear the shirt etc)

i was sat about five rows up on the 10 yard line and it was 10 minutes from time when the incident happened. i saw it all in all its glory.

The trouble is we were 50 points down and king was smiling like he didn't care and the fans thought he didn't care and perceived it as king not caring and just taking the money and running (something he doesn't do enough ironically) .
Then the w@*£#r gesture came (which did him no favours) and it upset the crowd.
A couple of tries did come down the left wing but i agree most came down the right.

King has got to go, not because of yesterday but because he doesn't warrant the money he is on.
Monas has to follow too.

It was on the pitch. You see what I mean most people moaning on here didn't even see it. They are just getting second hand information that is wrong.

Didn't see it myself, as I wasn't there.
Could it not have been possible that he was shaking off a little knock picked up to his hand/wrist? I do it all the time during matches and in the gym when my wrist sort of 'stiffens up'.

Facts

1) Matt King did not do the motion first.

2) The abuse he recieved was "Do us a favour and get banned, it's the only way you'll get dropped, oh and now you looking right at me" (which a previous poster has stated that it was quite comical) from the seats not from the sides

3) Motion from Mr King ( obvious from my angle )

4) Supporter responded with same action back.

5) Both at fault

it was definitely a 'coffee beans' hand gesture and i saw it 1st hand and i thought YES it was out of order but not as much as the smile which came just before it. That was what upset me the most.

He really his taking the money and couldn't give two s----s about WIRE.

After that incident i want him out of the team.

The word scapegoat springs to mind, fair enough he's been terrible, but he's had no service and he's playing in an awful team.

I went. King shouldn't have responded. It made everything x10 worse for him and the crowd then wanted blood. BUT, he shouldnt have been abused in the first place. There has to be mutual respect.

The only reason people get on his back is because quite frankly he isnt very good, and people were expecting captain marvel. The second reason is that he was an easy target in that second half - at Quins you feel even closer to the guys on the pitch than you do at Wire and Kingy was closest

I dont like the whole smiling when losing part of his game I have to say its a bit distressing to see, although I do accept its his character and he's always smiling.

Its just all so dissapointing at the moment on the pitch. Yesterday was not helped by the fact that lots of people got there early to see the man u game and had been drinking since the early morning in some cases.

i remember paul davidson doing a similar gesture at saints.. i think at the monent you lot probably wish you had paul davidson instead of king at the moment!!

Is it Matt kings fault that this club has underachieved for the past god knows how long. For Christs sake get off the mans back. Yes I agree he has not lived up to the expectations we all had of him when he signed but of all the other signings we have made in the past few years who has?? Remember we are all Warrington RLFC supporters and thats what we should be doing through thick and thin , not abusing players. Get to the game on sunday and try and lift those players and remind them what it means to wear the primrose and blue.. Come on the Wire!!!!!!!!!!
