This “if you want something enough you can get it” seems to be a modern myth amplified by reality tv. I really want to win Euro Millions, I mean really, really and yet still no win.
There are numerous reasons we haven’t won a GF some of them may have been down to bad decisions some bad luck...
The truth is sport is unpredictable

no such thing as luck.
Not winning the lotto is down to probability odds against and wanting has no effect upon odds however many fingers you cross.
Not winning a GF is down to lesser ability where and when opportunity arose.

Shouldn’t be considering Noble in any role. His success at Toronto, Salford and Crusaders is hardly stellar. Well past his sell-by date for any position.

Noble was the director of rugby for a club who without recalling players from loan and signing A N Other to play as an amateur, wouldn’t have enough players to fill a team. You’d assume that he would have oversight of the squad, given the title. Pathetic really.

In short luck is, by its very definition, down to probability.

No Captain Hooks lottery example was not a good example.

I think bad luck may have cost us 1 GF with the injury to Monaghan, but not 4 GFs.

The attendances will start dropping quickly as the promise of the first 2 rounds dwindles away. I'm so underwhelmed again about this season, it feels like a write off already as things stand. I can't believe some (most) of the negativity around Price. Criticism of the style of rugby is really something else. Has nobody noticed any of:

1. New halfback combination
2. Awful weather hardly supportive of flowing rugby where the ball gets sent across the line both left and right.
I note comments along the lines of "hope after the first 2 performances". Well let's remember the weather conditions the first 2 games were a down sight better than the last couple of games. Be patient.

Come on, I don't think anybodys negativity about the coach are solely down to the first 4 matches of this season! It's practically the entire second half of last season aside the challenge Cup ties. Even quite a few of the earlier rounds when we were winning were a difficult watch from a fans perspective. We've underperformed for a long time before this season even started. After the first 2 games I felt I was wrong but not now.

You're absolutely entitled to keep the faith and fair play to you but seriously its not about the first 4 games.
