We was sat directly in line with it. It was only about half a metre.

A very efficient performance. We simply ran at them, and tired them out. They looked spent after 25 minutes. Good tactics by us.

My only gripe still lays with the 3/4 line. We just have no pace. Russell looked like he was walking through treacle, when we had that breakaway in the second half. Penny would have time to prune his roses, compared to MR.

Good to see 6 and 7 rested when the game was out of site

I thought Russell was very good today at what he does best, scooting from dummy half & giving our attack another dimension & i actually saw him pass the ball to set up a try. I don't know if it part of this year's masterplan to allow teams to advance so far upfield off six tackles so avoiding excess tackling or are we lacking in defensive tactics. We could easily have come unstuck losing so much ground in sets but at least we managed to outscore Wakey.
On a positive note, i hear the cheerleaders at the Wakefield end managed to catch 36 Pokemon imaginary friends in their spare time.

Russell is very fast but BJB is ridiculously rapid.

Agreed. I don't really know what to make of the other games, season in general and teams around us either. This time last year Leeds were red hot favourites for everything, but I think the top four - now Saints are back in form and back in the equation - are very even at the moment. Any of us could win it and from any of the four positions.

I'm just waiting and hoping, although the depressive in me says Wigan or Saints will win it because Wigan and Saints win Grand Finals and Warrington don't.

I must say, apart from the Wakey yellow card ,which was more clumsy than malicious, i was amazed at how clean the game was played & it was good to see two teams playing rugby without the need to maim.

Anyone know when Nick Scruton joins us? I think he enjoyed the craic as much as we did. Fair play to him, to be able to still have a sense of humour while losing a cup semi final takes some strength of character.
