massive queue at 5 minutes to kick off shocker......didnt we have this with the Featherstone fans who all turned up at 5 minutes to kick off and got stuck in a queue...?

I was there at 14:40 and didn't get in until 14:55. Hardly last minute. Similarly, what's the explanation for the HOME fans who were there at that time and had to queue too?

I was queuing from 2:40 and didn't get in till ten past 3. 20 minutes is not last minute. I love your stadium, so don't think i'm slagging it off, but the organisation today was poor. And all these cheap digs at us doesn't change the fact that a lot of people were ed off at having to queue that long, including Warrington fans.

I had to wait 30 minutes. That's not acceptable for such a modern stadium.

No, luckily I was near the front queuing but it soon snaked back down towards the other end of the West Stand.

Tell the club then, what you expecting from us ?

Sorry about our stewarding and you missing the opening tries and the fact that there were only two gates open. Sincerest apologies please come back next season.

I agree that such long queue times are not accetable. All i can think is the reason of having limited turnstiles open is that Castsleford gave Wolves dodgy information about ticket numbers sold and/or enquiries etc and therefore they were only expecting a couple of hundred

I did tell them, and I just commented on this thread to back up what someone else was saying. No need to be obnoxious.

I entered the stadium at 2.10pm without having to queue. Just thought I would share that.

If people can't tear themselves away from the alehouse until at least 15 minutes before kick off, then if you have to queue to get in that's your own fault.

I'm surprised you had to queue since you hardly brought any fans.

Considering there was also a big pile up on the motorway on the way there, that also added to the queues. But go ahead, make more digs. I'd like to see how many fans you'd keep if you'd been where we have.

Wasn't at the pub. Our coach only got there at 14:30 and we had to park in Matalan.

I totally disagree with this. I love being able to mingle with opposition fans in Rugby League. I'm going to miss 'changing ends' at half time when they knock down the last few real Rugby grounds tbh.

One thing for season ticket holders to take note of if you're considering the 'friend for a fiver' option. You must exchange the 'friend for a fiver' voucher for a ticket (even though there is nothing on the voucher saying you have to) at the ticket office, not by taking five pounds cash & your 'friend for a fiver' voucher to a turnstyle. I found it rather frustrating to find that you can pay cash at a turnstyle or present your season ticket (or previously purchased ticket) but cant take a 'friend' in without exchanging the said voucher at the ticket office.

Agreed. As far as Cas fans are concerned, getting to mingle with Warrington fans is as close as they'll get to moving in cultured society. They might even cut out the homophobic chanting after a while.

I meant with the huge delays. RE: other poster - I have no problems with mixing with the aways fans, that is perhaps the most enjoyable aspect of our game.

But there is no doubt that allowing Warrington and Cas fans to enter via the same turnstiles caused more problems than there should have been.

In hindsight, my earlier post made me sound a bit of a tool - apologies. I have no problem with fans sharing a stand; it's just frustrating when it causes additional delays (which could have been solved).

No wonder there were delays in getting in .... to be fair to the Warrington club they've had to cope with a crowd of 10,000 today (including free tickets to local schools) .... thats nearly capacity!
