Shaun McRae can't really say anything else until the signing gets announced. Salford need the money as they haven't got any. The new stadium thing has gone quiet again (it's been running longer than The Mousetrap),and if nothing materialises everyone knows they'll be out of SL, so they might as well cash in now or lose him for nothing next year.

Agree with that. I think the Myler signing is probably all agreed, the tripe spoken on Boots 'n' all was just that. Salford won't let their most saleable asset sit on the sidelines with the his potential transfer value dropping by the week until his contract expires. They will cash in at the earliest and best opportunity. Money talks and SJM has plenty of it fortunately.

There are at least two clubs vying for Mylers signature, so Salford are holding out for the best deal.
