Scratching my head here .How does the panel decide whether Grade B Dangerous Contact is a ban or a fine ?

3-4 other players with a grade B as well who have only got a fine, so would be interesting to see how they've been looked at.
No memory of Harrison doing anything to warrant a ban either?
Looks like the youngsters will be making up the bench, unless Bullock, Wood and Crowther are available?

Exactly, unless I'm mistaken it's not like Harrison has 'form' with the disciplinary?

Saints failed the appeal of the appeal . Think they will now take it to Brussels to appeal to the court of human rights..

just to say as well, and this does come off a bit tinfoil hat territory, but you know how the fixture list was considered to be a bit...fecked... first half of the season.

i'm convinced this was done on purposed so all the wire wigan, wire saints, saints wigan and other games were kept away from the start of the season, and wouldn't be affected by the horrendous cards and suspensions that were inevitably handedout in the new system, and relative normality would return going into the business end of the season.

Anyone worried about a ban for Dufty?. Will also be interesting to see the outcome re Sims who lifted an injured player a la Vaughan

Listening to Burgess at end of game he says hopes common sense prevails so guessing any ban will be appealed. As for Sims Vaughan got 4 for lifting a non injured player that went on record and said he was playing for time but still got 4 match ban.

Expecting 2 matches but who knows?
Common sense seems to be a missing factor with the MRP.

you would think on the vaughan ban, and how stuff has been this year, you probably shouldn't be expecting to see sims again this season, maybe if catalans make the play offs

Dufty can be a bit "excitable" he's bound to cop a ban sometime. We need to be prepared for playing without him & if we lost Williams as our attack is so reliant on them.

It may not be everybody's opinion on the Board but it wouldn't bother me if Dufty sat out a game with a ban. He has played in all but one of our matches this season and I think it would be interesting to see how we cope without him. Taylor-Wray could come in at FB, he is an exciting player and could do with some game time. Alternatively if you want to be more conservative, move Thewliss to FB, Lindop to wing, Bateman to centre. It would be good to see our options before we hit the playoffs when bans / injuries to critical players could disrupt our preferred options.
