Pomeroy is our back up choice he came in and performed well when fit and did not let us down. I wouldn't be disappointed with him being kept on for a year as I think one of the wigan wingers may become available after next season. But we are looking for a winger so guess we will have to wait and see what unfolds

A winger and lose forward for me and maybe a bargain basement prop to bolster the pack and we should be good for a marked improvement next year

No reason injury permitting we cannot be challenging for a top 4 spot next year. We e certainly improved and are looking at bringing in two or three more which will add depth to the team

Still don't get the Pomeroy love in. Released by Catalan, playing lower French league, hardly played any matches for us (the majority of which were limited opposition) AND was playing alongside Hiku (which shouldn't be underestimated).

His effort and performances were better than the alternative and still are if we're unable to bring in a winger. I don't think anybody is calling for him to be signed as our new winger but given last seasons performances it wouldn't be the end of the world

He would be adequate backup at wing and centre meaning we don't need to move second rowers to centre to cover injuries or has the cap changed meaning that we can have 28 players that would walk into most teams??

Given the logic he looked good playing alongside hiku he will have goodwin now who is also a good centre....

Yes but do we need another prop over a winger kp eluded to working under certain cap space on the last 2/3 signings do you believe if we sign a burgess/graham type player we will be able to afford a reasonable winger under the cap

No point In having forwards to get us up the field if we've nobody able to capitalise on the positions we can put ourselves in especially if we've aspirations of winning finals. Linehan and atkins is a good combo but linehan is often starved of ball and asked to run up on the first. This is down to tactics and in part atkins inability to pass to him patton made a few cut out passes and linehan scored so don't need atkins out just a few different options. The other side we've goodwin and russel I fear in games when opportunities are scarce then not having a hall mcgilvrey Johnston manfredi in his place will cost us I'm hoping price gets the best out of bot edges if it's down to new recruits or new ideas I'm happy but think we've strengthened our pack enough and if we've another big signing I'd rather it strengthens our back line over the already strengthened pack.

Different class aren't they. James Graham is a superb forward, amazing engine but his passion to compete stands out.

We are trying to offload Lineham, but not having much luck at the moment.

Linehan is not the problem provide him with the opportunity n he will score tryst 19 in a poor team and with atkins as his centre then that's a reasonable haul. Give him a centre who creates and passes we will see the best out of him if a new wingers brought in I doubt it would be to replace him.

Kevin niquima had a solid game today he was rumoured to be coming here did that fall thru did we sign hiku instead would be worth replacing russel with him. I still think marshall at wigan would fit the bill for us especially if rumours he is going for a season long loan at Swinton are true he is a good promising winger who would not be cheep but I don't think he would be a particularly high earner initially.
