if he gets a guilty then for the charge they have laid 4 games is the minimum.

I think this should be the final straw in his rugby league career, they should send him as far away from rugby league as possible, a 3 year contract at Widnes is probably the right sort of punishment..

What Hock did was wrong m'kay but I think people are getting a little carried away by it, the below link is what I class as eye gouging and if he would have done like in the below link then an almighty ban would ensue.

Wigan will sack him as he has disgraced the club again after getting a second chance, don't want his sort in our great game.

I'll bet that Hock gets a ban that is then watered down by next seasons pre season friendlies

So by your definition, a head high tackle is fine so long as the 'victim' is able to get up and play on? A chicken wing is fine so long as the arm isn't broken or shoulder dislocated? A spear tackle is totally OK if the player is able to get up again?

So by that Harrison has to lose an eye for Hock to get suspended. Don't be so stupid. You cannot defend the indefensible. It was an awful thing to do and it was then compounded by the punch. Two charges, one long ban to follow. Mind you, when the ban's over he'll get another hero's welcome from the fans when he comes back.

If Hock pleads guilty he will only get a short ban. However, if he pleads not guilty he should get the maximum ban on both counts. Not in our sport thanks.
