It will help us to keep Wigan fighting on two fronts for as long as possible, (although I am not ruling Saints out of giving us a nasty end to the season in the playoffs I think Wigan are a bigger danger than Saints at the moment).

Also I think the pie eaters deserve a trip to Wembley again, especially Michael McGuire before he leaves, you have to admit however much you dislike Wigan, that McGuire is the real deal as a coach.

As a footnote, I'm a plazzy Scouser despite living in Manchester, and plenty of people in St Helens are as plazzy Manc as half of Warrington. St Helens RLFC are not Scouse in any way, shape or form (their soon to be ex captain aside!)

I commented on all the hurt Saints have inflicted on us over recent years and you write about Saints not being Scousers.

You don't need to throw bricks at coaches or attempt to bait the opposition supporters post match in order to have a rivalry you know, just need to have history and tradition which saints and wigan have in abundance, hence the mutual respect between both clubs (barring derby day of course).

Some sections of Warrington and both Hull clubs support (minority to be fair) clearly don't think of anything else apart from violence and hate when it comes to derbies, highlighting why your fans are tagged as the scum of RL.
