TS is privvy to more information than we are.

Perhaps he made a decision based on something we aren't aware of? Perhaps he took a gamble that didn't pay off? Either way if it was the wrong decision it doesen't the detract from TS's ability as a top coach who will know whether Gaz O'Brien is ready or not.

You can't beat a good 'big' academy game.

We are playing in a must win game,and people want to play unproven players. Ts has to play the strongest team availble to him.It might not sit well with the fans,but whats more important.Getting two points or not picking the likes of Clarke or Higham.Beacuse some imbelices on a rugby board dont like them.

It's not the fact that he may of played in a bigger game. It's the fact that you said he's played in 'big games' then, when asked, "which big games?", you replied by saying, 'big academy games'. You do realise that a Super League game is a big step up from an U20's academy game?

That is exactly the point. He has reached the peak of the previous level and deserves a step up.

He's obviously not ready yet or Smith would be playing him regulary in Super League. Like I said, from the U20s to Super League is a big step up, and Smith will know this. When Smith thinks he's ready then that's good enough for me. Like WalterWizard said, he's training with the first team anyway, so Smith will be able to see him day in day out.

I have said I am not questioning TS. I was saying that I would love to know the reason. There must be a reason, other than a feeling or a premonition. TS is a great coach and certainly knows his stuff. So I'd love to know his reasoning.
