Got to say, special praise to Jermaine McGillvary, to come back that strong and enthusiastic after getting smashed by Morley... shows character.

Honestly, If you'd seen him week out last season you'd have no doubt in your mind about his quality - he was a revelation. Not quite hitting those heights this year but still a fantastic weapon to have come off the bench. Great piece of business by TS all in all.

I honestly thought last night's game was poor.....Was there a completed set, by either side in the second half?

The only consolation I gained from it as a Wire fan was that I knew it was a massive off day and that they can do a hell of a lot better....If I was a Huddersfield fan, I'd seriously be hoping the same, because if that is near your best, then you will not win a thing this year.

To put it in context, against an in-form Saints/Leeds/Wigan, we'd have been on the end of a 50+ point thrashing, on last night's show.

I can understand that, because you won, it made slightly more pleasant viewing than for Wire fans, but the match, second half especially, was mistake-riddled, and not many of them enforced.

so its not just on the widnes board that you chat sh&t and disappear up your own ass. many of you dont mind dishing out stick to teams who arent even in your league (often in a completely ignorent and misinformed manner) but get uppity when huddersifeld fans inevitably take pride in their teams worthy victory. man up and take it on the chin, and dont dish it out if you cant take some back.

My whole point has been that while Huddersfield thoroughly deserved to win last night, the actual quality of the game, from both sides, was very average, at best.

Both sides need to improve a lot on last night's showing to come anywhere near a trophy this year....From a Wire fan's point of view, I know we can, I was just wondering if Huddersfield fans believed the same of their side?
