Wouldn't advocate a skin tight version but I would at least like the shirt to look like the team's shirt

I saw three different versions of that being worn at one game. The most common heavy cotton one that loads had on, the skintight one (which was a different design - player issue I think), and one fella was in a polyester version of the common design. I don't know if counterfeiters bother making blag Warrington shirts or if the shop just sells different ones but it looked a bit weird.
I understand why they make the fit different for players and supporters, but surely the basic material should be similar if not exactly the same, and the design should definitely be identical? Otherwise it's not a replica shirt.

| So not only we're we asked to pre-order shirts that we didn't know the appearance of, but the shirts we would actually be ordering, wouldn't look like the pictures when they come out, and are dissimilar to the player tops (which is surely the meaning of being a 'replica' top)
Why I didn't buy the away top last year and cant say I'm bothered this year.

I agree with the design but not your comment about the material.
Arent the players shirts made from a special material to aid technical stuff and, as a result, are more expensive? I remember an artical once about them. Can you imagine if they asked us to pay £70 or £80 for a replica shirt?

Yes it is special material for the players shirts, but last years home shirt was very close to the players but in a cheaper polyester and could be called a "Replica" shirt. I know they had problems with the badges cracking but I think that was because of having to rush the shirts out when Canterbury went bust.
If you have seen other clubs shirts, ie Leeds, Saints and most other clubs, they are replicas and all the badges, sponsers etc are printed with in the material so no cracking.
Warrington seem to want to push off on us cheap far east cotton goods at £45 a time.
The Trade description act could be raised here as the "Leisure" shirt on offer is not the one shown on the club shop web site, so those who pre ordered have not got what they thought they were getting.

| Yes, i got mine yesterday, the quality is very good and the sizing is pretty accurate with most other clothes you would buy. However the sample shirt in the shop did seem bigger when I tried it on.

Really nice shirt, nice fit and good proper collar.

| Went into the shop to look at the new shirt today, it's been produced exactly like the 2010 Away shirt. Everything is sewn on and I don't know if I like that. I loved it on the away one, but I also loved the 2010 Home kit, the fabric was similar to the players jersey and you don't sweat as much in it as you did the away one as it wasn't as thick.
I just hope the away one is a different fabric, otherwise the club need to sort themselves out asap. Why can't we have printed logos like someone else has mentioned? Last year I can understand the rush so stickons were borderline acceptable. This year it should have been perfect.

| totally agree - the 2009 away shirt had printed on logos - if the 2011 shirt had been like that then i would have bought it but not some rip off effort - the club needs to get a grip

| Don't get me wrong, I'll still buy and wear both kits, as it shows I support the team, and I do love the collar, but I think they do need to get the fabric sorted, the stitching looks tacky around the Warrington Fabrication signs and you can just tell you'll be warm wearing it... With some of the heat we had (Admittedly, little amounts) wearing a shirt like that will cook you.
2009 was Printed, and actually... 2010 was printed, too. the ISC logo wasn't sewn or stitched on, it was printed into the fabric. Why couldn't they have done that to the rest? I'd love to have the 2010 Home shirt fabric with everything printed on except the Wolves badge and the Super League badges, as those look better stuck on.

| I agree with the posters complaining about sewn on sponsors logos. I demand the retuen to the crappy ones that crack with the first wash. Without these what are we going to moan about for the rest of the season?
Are others suggesting having the sponsors logos "printed" into the shirt? I think that looks ace on those football shirts you can buy on the promenade at Torremolinos: real classy they look.

2009. Take a look at those kits, the logos are all printed onto the shirt. Why have we stepped back to Stickon/Stitchons?
Or even the 2010 ladies home shirts, all were printed except the Wolves badge.
The ones that cracked sucked. I looked after mine so the damage was minimal, then they released a quick fix with the sewn on logos. I can understand given the fabric that printing might be a little difficult, hence the stitching... Which I don't mind. But why not release it with a fabric similar to the players jersey, rather than a totally different shirt? Even the colouring a slightly different on the "Fans" top.
Like I said, no matter what the quality or the fabric etc, I'll still be buying both shirts and will be wearing them with pride. It's just fustrating at times with the quality of things. Wigans 2010 home kit... the players had that big collar, that looked awesome... Why can't we have something like that on our smooth fabric'd shirts... as I know most of us like the shirts with collars.
