Did anyone Notice Asotasi having a a tete a tete with Ablett near the end. It's small but significant
moments like that which shows that the mentally, and the team has turned a corner after the start of the season.

Every player was strong and kept the defensive line and when Leeds broke,our cover was excellent.

Everyone deserves a big pat on the back but special mentions should go to Myler and Patten at hb, Micky H, Simms, Ratchford plus Clark for some storming breaks plus the whole side. COYW

Wire controlled the ruck and ground Leeds to a stand still. That's the way to beat us. You have done it well in both games.

I wish people would realise you're going to see a lot of highs and lows with our performances this season. The past few years we have lost Hodgson, Briers, Morley, Carvell, Monaghan, three of which are pivotal positions of 1, 7, 9. Two of these areas have been replaced with quality players (Ratchford and Clark)but their games are still developing, still haven't really replaced Briers but Patton looks to have promise, we have introduced many home grown players as well whilst still remaining very competitive (GF eliminator and CC semi). We have had some great performances this season and some terrible ones and also been in the big games till the end. I doubt we will win SL or the CC this season but we're going to see these young players hopefully develop very well, giving us a platform to build on for the future. #truth

And the Sinfield after match interview.. Ha ha Apparently the Saints game took to much out of them...? How does a 41 point hammering against an injury hit team do that ??

I agree. The Saints game would have had some fatigue input. It was a tough match. Enjoyed it.

Excellent last night to a man, looks like they had a good week in training they seemed refreshed and focused, not only giving a great team performance but some well crafted tries, it's been a difficult period for the team so they deserve all the plaudits.

Not sure who were more annoying last night... the pathetic Leeds supporters, the Leeds players diving to the floor and whining to the referee or the abysmal Sky commentary team.

None of them mark... it made the game even more enjoyable!

Stevo screaming for a red card for Sims tap on his boy Sinfield's face was especially pathetic even from him..!
Not to mention him shouting "Come On" to Leeds when they were attacking our line..

I was stunned by the overreaction to that as it happens in every game and its a penalty nothing else.

Still trying to decide if the champagne moment from last night was Higham getting a 40/20 or Big Roy going over for our fifth try

The 40/20 was great, but had to be Big Roy's swallow dive.

Was that our first 40/20 of the campaign? Im pretty sure no one got one last year too :S

As was happened in the NRL this morning, TV didn't even show a replay. Sky are always trying to find controversy in everything.

Our kicking game last night was fantastic, can only think of one kick that wasn't effective and went over the dead ball line. Even the missed drop goal meant Leeds needed to run from deep. Leeds had a lot of work to do in defence and then we didn't give them easy field position, therefore I bet they were knackered.

Leeds only made 8 kicks (5 the most from McGuire), Sutcliffe didn't kick and neither did Sinfield.

It was our 2nd, O'Brien got one against Hull FC away.

We kicked 1 in 2014 (Michael Monaghan)

I vote for Harrison's pin point kick that put Joel in for our 2nd.

Nah we had about 4 poor kicks in the game, it's something i sadly been keeping an eye on, mainly Myler...not panning him btw, just being objective.

I voted for Simms , letting sinfield know who was boss with a little face rubber, when the game was won!!

My points are -
1. Well done to the whole team. Difficult to pick a mom. Everyone played well. We fully deserved the win.
2. I think we got the bounce of the ball on a number of occassions - more than out fair share.
3. We also manaed to successfully slow the ptb down, and in that I think we were fortunate. Another ref and another night and we could have been penalized time and again.
4. Left hand defence very good.
5. Great to see Patton put in some good kicks.
6. Myler played well
7. No problem with Leeds whinging at the ref. Whenever they do that it always means they're rattled, and boy did we rattle them.
8. Why can't we play that against other teams or more consistently? What happened to turn our team from beating Leeds the first time to losing 5 out of 6, and then beating them a second time?

Question 8 is the big one for me, but well done lads.

no arguments or complaints from me as imo that would be pedantic to churn out the usual things that go against sides that lose

the truth is that the best team won and warrington will definitely be a team that we or any other side for that matter will have to beat to win any silverware this season

although im sure we will be able to learn from it and deliver the goods when the big games come around

as a side note,i would love to have stefan ratchford in our side and he would be great at 7 alongside sutty
