One of the reasons that you are hard work is that you give an opinion and pass it off as fact. I'm 'categorising' it as a potentially exciting challenge for both my own Club and for the game.

b) a challenge match
c) an exhibition match
d) potential for the players to get injured match

This is hopefully, a game where we get 13,000 people through the turnstiles, which generates business for the club (will we be making merchandise for this game

), e.g. beer sales, food sales, advertisement sales. Hell, we might even sell some E-cigs on the back of it



We get to see where we are against a decent Aussie club.

I firmly with Lefty, we will be playing an Aussie club which from memory we haven't done for many years. I think the HJ will be rocking & I for one can't wait.

It depends, either top 3 qualify or GF finalists and highest-ranked Semi loser qualify.

Although perhaps not strictly an accurate guide, this year we seemed to conveniently finish 3rd to attract our fixture based on the play offs and or the ability to pay the air fare of our opponents or am I having a Bobby Ewing shower moment?

If the idea is a success this reward system will be something that will need to be resolved

How are ticket sales going for this one? I am looking at taking quite a few to this match but cant afford it until pay day and dont want to miss out

If you can't look forward to a team coming over from the NRL playing at full strength then there is no hope for some.

Expect that TS had a smile on his face when he heard that Wigan are training with Souths in the lead up to these cross-comp games. Only a year has passed since Wane slagged us off for training with the Roosters in the weeks before their WCC game against Wigan. Will Maguire ask Wane for his blokes to 'play like Saints?' league express today suggesting we've sold 7k tickets for this.

Can't work out if thats disapointing as its half capacity or good as its only a friendly?

If true then thats rubbish, friendly or not this could be a start of something big and as a club we should be proud to be involved.

However, if it were a game that produced some silverware, I doubt there would even be standing room only available by now.

Saints have nearly tripped what we have sold if correspondence are to be believed.

Our wcs game will mean nothing more than what patriotism it can muster. I for one have more interest in this game v Salford than I have v St G/I. To me there is a lot more at stake loosing on Saturday.
