It's irrelevant what 'Smithy' chooses to give away or not, Brown has confirmed the signing. I accept that it's not still not official but it would be pretty remarkable if it didn't happen from this point.

There's a few articles on Sporting Life that confirm it! It's just more of a case of when we annouce his signing not if!

I know it goes against the grain but a 2 year deal for a full back at the age of 32, regardless of experience or career achievements, isn't the best move the club has made in the transfer market. If he had been injury free during his time at Huddersfield I wouldn't be as concerned, but I can see why they only offered him a 1 year extension. I hope he proves me wrong and plays the majority of games for us.

I don't know how much any of the players earn and how we fair under the salary cap, but I hope TS & Moranovitch find room to accommodate Mathers as back up.
