One think that SBW would do is put bums on seats. He would also be a merchandising / sponsorship cash cow. I am not suggesting that this deal is on the cards but it would but something like this would generate a lot of revenue quickly.
If the club were tempted to go for a high profile signing I am not too sure that TS would have the same stance as PC did when Johns came over.
Like Sir Alex, I would like to think that TS is more concerned with attitude rather than the players status. Now a player who can perform, who has the right attitude and has the status of a SBW, Johns type would be a winner all round, but does the massive wages put other players noses out of joint and create other problems.

I am not saying that Johns was not a great player but his impact on the team was not long lived.

Rumour and speculation is allowed on here and if all you were doing IS as you claim, posting what you hear and what you know, fine. BUT, first you posted a lengthy piece and attempted to make it look like it had been copied from a news site when in fact you had made it up and secondly you spouted a load of lies about the service area meeting. We would prefer not to have nonsense like that.

tache is indicating quite strongly that he knows the id of the player concerned.

Look, i like tache and think he is a good poster and does come up with bits of info, but all he has said is we are signing someone, any poster on here could say that...........no meat on the bones.
